Asia-Pacific Protection & Testing Conference 2018 (AP.PTC 2018)
Electric Power System in the 21st Century
The Asia-Pacific Protection and Testing Conference (AP.PTC) is organized by OMICRON together with PAC World. It serves as a neutral platform for the protection community to acquire knowledge and trend of the latest available technologies and to understand the possibilities and the risks involved. A focus is put on the learning about testing and verification of modern IEC 61850 based protection environments. Numerous real life implementation examples and case studies shall give participants insights on what is happening right now in the industry around the world.
PAC World Tutorial:
"Developments and applications of IEC 61850"
There will be an IEC 61850 Tutorial prior to APPTC, on October 30, 2018 which consists of both theory sessions and demonstration sessions. In the theory sessions, the latest development of the IEC 61850 standard with implementation examples will be examined while a few breakout sessions will be organized to aid understanding and demonstrate the latest testing techniques.
