Background Knowledge

Summary

You will be introduced to the relevant theoretical background knowledge of SFRA testing. In order to gain experience SFRA examples will be analyzed and case studies will be presented. Our trainer will explain the common test procedure in regards to SFRA testing and analysis.

Objectives

  • Detecting winding deformation from measurement traces
  • Assessing SFRA measurement traces using three different methods
  • Identifying different failure modes such as buckling, telescoping, overall bulk movement, core defects, contact resistance, winding turn to turn shorts

Duration

1 hour
