Overcome the Challenges of Data Handling

Carrying out electrical testing on a regular basis tends to lead to an amount of data, which afterwards needs to be evaluated and managed. If then, as in the case of large energy supply companies, several test teams, departments and processes are involved, or entire asset fleets need to be tested, good planning, close collaboration, and a clear overview are required. The obtained data also needs to be as automated as possible integrated into the existing data infrastructure of ERP and maintenance systems.

Frank Wang is part of the commissioning team at ATCO Canada, a large public company with nearly 7000 employees. He and his colleagues work daily with a range of OMICRON primary test equipment, and have to master such an environment.
