With TESTRANO 600, OMICRON has developed the world’s first portable, three-phase test system, which supports all common electrical tests on power transformers. Weighing just 20 kg/44 lbs, it is ideal for routine and diagnostic testing onsite and during factory acceptance tests (FAT). In addition, its innovative design significantly reduces wiring efforts, cutting down testing time to one third compared to conventional single-phase testing.

With TESTRANO 600, operators need just one common setup to perform multiple tests, such as transformer turns ratio, exciting current, DC winding resistance, dynamic resistance, short-circuit impedance / leakage reactance as well as frequency response of stray losses (FRSL). By combining it with the accessory CP TD1, it can as well test power/dissipation factor and capacitance up to 12 kV.

Tests of distance relay teleprotection schemes should check both relays simultaneously, including their communication link.
This video shows a real test of a 110 kV overhead line. The protection was only out of service for one hour. The whole test could be conducted so efficiently, because it had been performed with OMICRON CMCs and RelaySimTest. This software allows the whole test to be controlled from one end of the line. CMGPS 588, a GPS controlled time reference, had been used to enable synchronized injection.

Testy układów [uwspółbieżnienia] zabezpieczeń odległościowych wymagają jednoczesnego sprawdzenia obu zabezpieczeń i połączenia między nimi.
Film przedstawia faktyczny test linii napowietrznej 110 kV. Zabezpieczenie wyłączono z eksploatacji na ledwie godzinę. Cały test można było przeprowadzić tak sprawnie dzięki użyciu testerów OMICRON CMC i programu RelaySimTest. Pozwala on sterować całym testem z jednego końca linii. Aby podać sygnały synchronicznie, użyto wzorca czasu sterowanego przez GPS, urządzenia CMGPS 588.

Видеоролик реального испытания воздушной ЛЭП на 110 кВ. Система защиты бездействовала всего один час. Такой эффективности мы добились благодаря испытательным комплектам CMC и ПО RelaySimTest производства OMICRON. Это ПО позволяет управлять всем испытанием с одного конца линии. Для синхронизации установок использовался CMGPS 588, блок синхронизации под управлением GPS.
