The main advantage of the measurement for the calculation is that you measure the actual physics of the power line. Currently an issue with the calculation is that you have to assume the soil properties. This can be quite difficult because of unknown factors such as underground pipes or different layers within the soil.

To establish a secure isolation between the test object and the operator, the CPC 100 is located a safe distance away from the high voltage area where the CP CU1 is placed.
