Testing MV Breakers with a WEGA interface for In-Service Timing Measurements
In this video series, Andreas Nenning shows the new CIBANO 500 MV package features of the Primary Test Manager (PTM) 4.70 using several medium voltage circuit breakers, such as ABB VD4, ABB SafePlus and ABB SACE.

In this episode, Andreas shows how to test GIS MV breakers such as the ABB SafePlus AirPlus with WEGA Interface, running a comprehensive test program, including the measurement of the motor current signature, Off Service Timing (C, O), Minimum Pickup, Contact Resistance and In Service Timing (Voltage-based Timing Measurement – VTM), with a special focus on the latter.
