43 Magazine | Issue 2 2017 We celebrated the 1 st OMICRON User Meeting in Brazil from March 22–23, 2017. The venue we chose for the event was the Meliá Hotel located in the famous Avenida Paulista of Sao Paulo City. With more than 50 users in attendance and coverage from O Setor Elétrico magazine, the event was a great success. We were honored by the presence of the renowned international speaker Dr. Alex Apostolov and the specialist Dr. Michael Krüger. We were also grateful for the parti- cipation of more than 10 customers from di erent sectors (utilities, manufacturers, and service providers), who delivered excel- lent presentations on the benefits of using OMICRON solutions for both Protection and Automation testing and Substation and High Voltage Equipment testing.
