TWX1
CMC Accessory for testing traveling wave protection relays and fault locators
TWX1 is the ideal field-testing solution to test all functions of traveling wave protection relays. It is fully supported by the software RelaySimTest and enables testing to be prepared and performed efficiently. Separate calculations, setting or wiring changes are not required during testing with the TWX1. Additionally, using test modes is also unnecessary. Test procedures are started with a single click, and all protection elements are tested simultaneously.
The TWX1 requires a CMC with a NET-2 interface board.
User-friendly
Manual interventions during the test are reduced to a minimum. Separate calculations, setting or wiring changes are not necessary.
High accuracy
The voltage and current travelling waves of the TWX1 are superimposed on the transient signal of the CMC with nanosecond accuracy, allowing precise verification of all relay functions.
End-to-end tests
In combination with CMC, CMGPS 588 and RelaySimTest, end-to-end testing can be controlled from one location. Tedious coordination is completely eliminated.
