Want to check low- and medium-voltage switchgear?

Use the integrated timer of the COMPANO 100 test set to measure the open and closing times of medium-voltage circuit breakers (1 kV to 36 kV). Additionally, the circuit breaker contact resistance can be tested with the built-in micro-ohm function.

Have to test the overcurrent relay at the 10 kV distribution level?

With COMPANO 100, you don't need a dedicated relay test set for basic protective relay testing. The test equipment allows you to perform single-phase protection tests on overcurrent relays for medium and high voltage systems. Thanks to the independent current and voltage source with freely adjustable phase angle, you can even test directional and distance protection relays. Voltage and frequency protection is covered as well.

Need to test the burden of a voltage transformer or current transformer (VT / CT)?

Use the test set's secondary injection to check and verify the burden of instrument transformers and avoid problems due to over- or underburdened VTs or CTs.

Want to check the readings of meters, relays or even SCADA systems?

With COMPANO 100 you can inject current and voltage on primary or secondary side of your system and check the readings for correctness.

Electronically controlled outputs

Obtain the exact value you desire thanks to controlled electronic outputs for voltage and current. In addition, the electronic sources can output signals with variable frequencies and other signal forms, automated ramps, pulse ramps even for current – and of course pure DC.

Polarity check signal generator

Perform polarity checks throughout the station within minutes with the special electronically generated free DC test signal. With the optional available CPOL you get a hand-held polarity checker that allows you to easily perform measurements without a cable connection back to the test set.

Predefined sequences and ramps

Easily program sequences in advance and run them automatically at the test location. This can be states, ramps, pulse ramps, or combinations of them. You may also share your sequences with your colleagues using USB flash drives.

Flexible and comprehensive testing functionality

Benefit from highly flexible and configurable inputs. Whether the sources are AC or DC, COMPANO 100 can run various output signal forms. Use the configurable high-precision timer to start or stop the measurement process based on various events. Combine functions with others in a useful manner, e.g., to calculate real power from the output current and a voltage input.
