Researchers within a current research project dealing with augmented reality (AR) in protection and control want to find out how AR or similar technologies such as Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, or the Internet of Things can increase work safety within an increasingly complex environment.
The video below has been produced within the framework of its first pilot projects. It shows a protection test in the year 2024, where the work steps and processes have all been made easier, optimized and expanded.
When this was written, the research group consisted of employees from KNG-Kärnten Netz and OMICRON. Now they want to invite more experts to join them in thinking about their future and actively designing it.
