DANEO 400 Software Version 4.30 Available

June 30, 2022

DANEO 400 can record and analyse conventional signals (voltages, currents, hard-wired binary status signals) as well as the messages in the substation communication network.

With software version V4.30, new functions and improvements have been implemented in the DANEO Control software. The most important of these are:

  • Support of Sampled Values with configurable datasets as defined in IEC 61869-9:
Now Sampled Values streams with configurable datasets as defined in IEC 61869-9 are supported in all functions of DANEO 400.

The configurable datasets can be observed and verified against an imported System Configuration Language (SCL) configuration. Sniffing for such Sampled Values stream orphans is also possible.
  •

  • Support of the following optional fields defined in IEC 61850-9-2 Ed2.1:
GmIdentity - grandmaster identity of PTP clock source
SmpRate - sampling rate in unit of SmpMod
SmpMod - unit of SmpRate value

These frequently used optional fields can be observed and verified against an imported SCL configuration.
  •

  • SCL import:
Performance improvements have reduced the time of an SCL import significantly. A new progress indication is also shown during importing.
