Test Universe is the most powerful and convenient software tool for settings-based testing of protection relays and test and calibration of measurement devices like energy meters, power quality analyzers or transducers. It offers fully automated protection testing with a library of relay-specific test plans (PTL) and automatic adaptation to relay settings. Easy manual testing is supported by a wide range of function specific test modules.
The new Test Universe 4.10 offers various new features and improvements:
- Support of new LLX accessory units used with the CMC 430 to connect amplifiers or to test devices with sensor inputs.
- Expansion Mode for the CMC 430: Option to connect a second CMC 430 to get three additional current outputs.
- Testing in an IEC 61850 environment with GOOSE and Sampled Values: For safety reasons, both configuration modules now use the simulation mode by default.
- New sample test plans for comprehensive testing of PQ analyzers according to the relevant IEC standards.
