Electronic signatures
A signature serves to assign a document to the signatory (signer). With an electronic signature, electronic data is attached to the electronic document that establishes the identity of the signer and the integrity of the signed document. The electronic signature is used to authenticate a document.
If you have received a signed PDF from OMICRON and want to verify its authenticity, you have following options:
- Verification in Adobe Acrobat.
Here you can find a detailed explanation of how to verify the document independently in Adobe Acrobat:
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/validating-digital-signatures.html#validate_a_digital_signature - Confirmation of authenticity by our technical support.
Send the document in question by the contact form to our technical support.
This will then be checked immediately and you will receive a confirmation of authenticity.
