This end-to-end testing capability is also used by NetSim. The program allows to use the CMC for network simulation.

What are your skills?
You have completed your graduate education in electrical engineering and have several years of in-depth experience in testing protection, automation and control
You are very experienced with IEC 61850 and communication
You are customer and business oriented and a proactive networker
You are self-motivated and full of initiatives to convince colleagues even across distances and countries
Communication and organizational skills are among your strengths
You are flexible, and would enjoy traveling (up to 50 %)

Through the use of our innovative approach, using a communications system model of the substation, StationGuard detects cyber threats as well as communication issues, such as excessive GOOSE processing delays and time synchronization issues.

StationGuard analyzes all communication on the station and process bus and it will raise an alarm if a device communicates in a way that does not comply with the system model (positive listing/whitelisting approach). Using this approach, StationGuard can also detect yet unknown cyber attacks on the power grid. This makes it the perfect fit to protect transmission, distribution and generation substations.
