Do you know how ADMO and InSight can support you during your maintenance and commissioning processes? Learn how easy it is for an Asset or Operations Manager to get a quick system status and overview for precise test planning, add new assets, and efficiently coordinate a workforce. Settings Engineers can easily lookup locations, assets and documents and find all data in one place. They can confidently enter the necessary setting data and transfer it to the respective tester’s device. This data is even accessible offline for an optimized test workflow at the substation, including uploads and functionality tests. After successfully finishing the maintenance or commissioning process, ADMO performs an automatic synchronization to inform the Asset Manager.

InSight collects all unstructured data from the substation and presents it via custom composed widgets for an excellent overview of both the data and system status.

Moritz Pikisch, power line and grounding expert, gives an insight into the importance of a reliable distance protection. He explains the advantages of measurements using the CPC 100 and CP CU1 towards the calculation of the line impedance.

The main advantage of the measurement for the calculation is that you measure the actual physics of the power line. Currently an issue with the calculation is that you have to assume the soil properties. This can be quite difficult because of unknown factors such as underground pipes or different layers within the soil.

To establish a secure isolation between the test object and the operator, the CPC 100 is located a safe distance away from the high voltage area where the CP CU1 is placed.
