Hybrid signal analyzer for power utility automation systems

Benefits of this solution

Fault recording

Trigger conditions start the recording of conventional signals and network traffic. DANEO 400 works unattended and rearms itself to detect further fault occurrences. Distributed measurements are performed with multiple time synchronized devices.

System verification

DANEO 400 verifies the connectivity of IEC 61850 devices and the presence of GOOSE and Sampled Values messages in accordance with the substation configuration provided in SCL format.

Network traffic supervision

Abnormalities in the network traffic are detected and logged as events (for example, missing GOOSE) which can trigger recordings of the relevant data or send email notifications to inform the operating staff.

Network assessment

The performance and loading of the communication network are measured and assessed. Propagation delays of data packets (for example, GOOSE) are measured within a local network or between substations.

“Keep track of what is going on in the substation with DANEO 400 that records and analyses all conventional signals and messages on the communication network.”

“Benefit from the expertise we acquire through the continuous sharing of knowledge .”

We maintain a constant dialogue with users and experts – for example during customer events and conferences all over the world and our collaboration with numerous standardization committees. We also share our knowledge with you in our customer portal and a wide spectrum of training possibilities, including start-up training and webinars.
